The progress so far...

Harry is digging the trenches for the foundation...

The trenches are filled with concrete... (done in 40 minutes...)

A couple of days later the weather is perfect and the front is already almost there...

Breaking down the wall of my old shed...

Holland is a very rainy country so we decided to keep the roof for as long as possilbe. Nice 'Ytong' pillars huh?

If you take a good look you can see the old shed in the back. In the end this is going to be one building. It's still one big mess now...

Concrete floor is there!!!

Building the inner walls...

The door and the other wall are almost finished...

...and the old roof is gone...

...and very very slowly a new roof is coming back...

All the beams are there...

(We're readjusting some of the beams so that's why the second one looks crooked...)

As you can see the roof is there...

The walls are getting 'knaufed'...

The roof is covered with some synthetic material...

The door is back again and the roof is ready for the rain...

A very sturdy door will keep unwanted guests out!!!

Harry made a nice window-sill from the excess of the new door...(see previous pic ;-))

Finally it's time to put in a nice floor...

My old couch is in place. Almost done...

Setting up and decorating has begun...

My girlfriend is very happy that I'm out of the house.
Now she can have her own office upstairs in the room where I used to be...
